At the beginning of the new year, the "Prosperous Spring Festival -2025 Jiangsu Provincial Traditional Chinese Painting Institute New Year Gift · New Year Exhibition" once again met with the audience. This exhibition has been successfully held for fifteen consecutive sessions and is an annual grand event of Danqing and a well-known cultural brand that benefits the people in Jiangsu. This exhibition is guided by the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, and hosted by the Jiangsu Provincial Academy of Chinese Painting and the Jiangsu Provincial Museum of Art.

This exhibition showcases a total of 302 selected Chinese painting works (sets) from the newly created works of retired and in-service artists at Jiangsu Provincial Academy of Chinese Painting. These works have rich themes, diverse forms, and distinct characteristics. They not only depict the beautiful life, colorful culture, and beautiful mountains and waters of the people of Jiangsu, but also include excellent works created by artists who delve into the snowy plateau in the western region, the construction front line in the central region, historical sites, and modern urban life to draw rich materials from unique perspectives. They express the beauty of the times, life, and nature from different aspects, reflecting the cultural connotation and spiritual power behind traditional painting. They concentrate on showcasing the artistic spirit of the Jiangsu Provincial Chinese Painting Academy's inheritance and promotion of the New Jinling School of Painting, which emphasizes the importance of "new life" and "brush and ink should follow the times". They are excellent achievements in promoting contemporary Chinese painting creation and innovation. The extension spans the Lunar New Year, hoping to add a festive atmosphere to the people and enhance their sense of cultural gain and happiness.

  Organize the "Water Charm Jiangsu" themed art creation activity, travel to thirteen districts and cities in the province, and express the beauty of rivers, lakes, and seas with traditional ink and brush; Implement the "New Jinling Painting School Youth Talent Training Plan" and successfully complete the training task of the second training class; In the 14th National Art Exhibition, 17 works from the entire institute were selected, and 5 works from the second phase of the student class were selected; Promote the exhibition of "Jinling Fenggu · Its Life is New -2024 Jiangsu Provincial Academy of Chinese Painting Chinese Painting Works Exhibition" and "Large scale Chinese Painting Scroll" Spring Colors of the Yangtze River "in multiple places both inside and outside the province, expanding the influence of Jiangsu art; Organize exhibition activities such as the 2024 Jiangsu Provincial Traditional Chinese Painting Institute Danqing Huimin Series Exhibition, titled 'Watching the Exhibition at the Door of the Home · Water Charm Jiangsu', to deliver high-quality cultural resources to the grassroots level.

In the new year, Jiangsu Academy of Chinese Painting will continue to adhere to the academic orientation of "pursuing classic scientific innovation", uphold integrity and innovation, take on responsibilities, strive to create more fine art masterpieces, better meet the new expectations of the people's spiritual and cultural life, and contribute to building a highland of fine art creation in Jiangsu and writing a new chapter of "strong, rich, beautiful and high" modernization construction in Jiangsu.
